Deepening Yoga - a 4-series course over 4 months (dates TBA)

Yoga is a practical and applied science for healthy living in both body and mind. During this workshop we will apply elements from Yoga Philosophy (including the essential yamas and niyamas) to our physical practice and to our daily lives. This is an powerful process of making conscious choices about our patterns of thinking, feeling and acting int he world. This applied practice brings a great sense of clarity, strength and ease in our lives, no matter what we encounter, and tools to fall back on when we meet new challenges. This course is ideal for yoga teachers, and will be excellent for those who have been practicing yoga consistently for at least one year.

Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs, a 6-week course series
This is the first half of a 12-week course designed to ease and manage chronic low back pain, creating a home practice to sustain the spine for life. This course was created in collaboration with the UK Arthritis Foundation and the University of York. It is the largest research trial study of its kind, showing that this approach to Yoga is as (and more) effective, and less expensive, than traditional medical interventions.
